David Sanchez is a college student and freelance games jounalist. What was once a hobby for him is now a passion, and he looks to someday make a decent living out of games journalism. In addition to his writing on Suite101, David is currently a volunteer staff writer for GamerSyndrome.com where he publishes news and reviews. He also writes reviews on BrightHub.com and is a contributing blogger on StarCraftFan.com

David enjoys a large selection of games, and his favorite genre is action-adventure. Some of his favorite games include: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Paper Mario, Jet Force Gemini, Earthbound, Max Payne, Max Payne 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, The Legendary Starfy, Shadow of the Colossus, Okami, God of War, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Twisted Metal: Black, and countless others.

Outside of gaming, David enjoys reading comic books and learning about art as well as creating his own. He has many artistic endeavors which include a storybook, a graphic novel, and a multi-piece concept series. David has had to take his time on these projects due to time constraints, but he remains dedicated to his art-making.
